Amader Gram is a ICT for development program based and focused in the rural division of Khulna, Bangladesh. Its broad goal is to develop and evaluate an information and communication technology strategy for development (an ICT4D strategy) which improves incomes and quality of life for rural Bangladeshis. Central components of this strategy are to...

• Provide computer literacy and advanced  IT training to rural populations through Village knowledge centers;
• Create IT “solutions” relevant to the needs of rural populations in agriculture, commerce, health, governance, education, disaster-preparedness and management, and accident prevention and management; and to promote and provide access to these through Village IT knowledge, training and service centers.
• Develop and provide e-Health model services for women’s health and cancer.
